Everything you need to know about our guides and calculators.
- What is Save Money To Invest and what does it offer for Bangladesh?
- Save Money To Invest is a free platform of financial data and calculators. The Bangladesh section brings together personal finance guides (savings accounts, the Universal Pension Scheme, provident fund and gratuity, the Deposit Insurance Scheme, the CIB, home loans, credit cards) and financial calculators in taka (BDT). No sign-up or account is needed.
- Why are the calculators in taka?
- Because the taka is the currency here. All calculators and articles use Bangladeshi taka directly, with lakh/crore grouping and no currency conversion.
- Does Bangladesh have a state pension?
- Not an automatic contributory one for private-sector workers. Government employees have a pension. Everyone else builds retirement money from a provident fund and gratuity through the employer, plus the voluntary Universal Pension Scheme (Jatiyo Pension) launched in 2023. See the Universal Pension calculator and the pension article.
- Is Save Money To Invest free in Bangladesh?
- Yes. All content — guides and calculators — is free and requires no sign-up. The site is funded by advertising.
- Can I see the full site in US English?
- Yes. Save Money To Invest also offers data from more than 10 global exchanges (NYSE, NASDAQ, LSE, Euronext, among others) and 17 financial calculators focused on the United States market. Reach them via the "🇺🇸 English (US) site" link at the top of this page.
